Welcome to the 'home' of Katie W Stewart. Who am I? That depends on what you want to know. I'm a writer. I'm also an artist and illustrator, mother of three lovely children, farmer's wife, school library officer, IT curriculum support person and lover of anything Celtic, especially the Celtic harp. I could list a thousand other things I am, if I thought about it hard enough, but I see your eyes already glazing over, so I'll spare you. I live in country Western Australia and no, I don't really have a pet dragon - but I'd like one!
I've illustrated a few children's books over the years, including three of the 'Scoot Scoot Bandicoot' Series by Karen Treanor. Now I'm working on writing my own books. My first novel, Treespeaker, was epublished in April 2011 and I am now working on a sequel. My children's novel, The Dragon Box, came out in August 2011 and Mark of the Dragon Queen, a fantasy novel for Young Adults was epublished in January 2012, quickly followed by a short story, Orlando's Gift.
