As many of you know, I've been trying to get my second volume of 'Famous Animals' published by the traditional method, in the hope that it might get better standing that way. All in vain so far. However, one publisher did suggest that it might work better as a blog. I wasn't sure what she meant, but it did make me wonder if I could maybe get my work 'out there' this way? So I've decided to post one Famous Animal each Saturday (please prod me unmercifully if you notice me lapse). For now they will be ones that I've already done, ones that were rejected for one reason or another from the first book or which I've done on a whim. Some may be from the book or the calendar. But I will try to do a lot more new ones. I'll also try to think of a funny line or two to go with them, but no promises on that.
So here's the first. The inimitable Miss Marlin Monroe...
MARLIN MONROE was a famous actress of the 1950s. Amongst her most famous movies are "Some Like It Salty", "Gentlemen Prefer Bluefins", "How to Marry a Marlinaire" and "The Seven Year Fin Rot".
